$62,000 in cash awards for outstanding Texas science teachers and their schools!

  • One Texas science teacher receives the Grand Prize award of $20,000 and a $5,000 resource grant for his or her school science curriculum.
  • Three Distinguished Award winners each receive $7,000 and another $3,000 for their schools.
  • One Rookie Award winner, for a teacher who has taught less than seven years, receives $5,000 plus $2,000 for his or her school.
  • Award winners will be invited to attend an awards presentation in June 2025.

Who's eligible? 

  • Texas full-time public and private school science teachers with a minimum of two years' completed classroom experience.
  • Teachers must return to teach during the 2025-26 school year. 
  • Teachers of any area of science.

Applications will be accepted until January 6, 2025Selectto be directed to the nomination/application form.
